Job Description – Senior Finance & BI Consultant (m/f/d)

As a Senior Finance & BI Consultant, you will support national and international clients in finance transformation, FP&A optimization, and BI-driven analytics initiatives. You will combine strong finance expertise with modern Microsoft BI and AI technologies to design and implement impactful solutions.

This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in Finance, Controlling, or FP&A who want to deepen their exposure to Business Intelligence, analytics, and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on FP&A, Controlling, financial planning, and finance transformation
Work in a wider team on design and implementation of reporting and planning solutions
Optimize and automate finance workflows and reporting processes
Work with Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Excel, Azure, and Power Platform
Translate business and finance requirements into data-driven solutions
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders on international projects including project management
Travel to customer sites, primarily within Germany and Europe

Candidate Profile – Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in FP&A, Finance, Controlling, or finance consulting
Strong interest in Business Intelligence, Analytics, AI, and finance process optimization
Experience or strong affinity with Microsoft BI and analytics tools
University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel for client engagements across Europe

Nice to Have – Additional Skills

Previous work experience in management consulting or project-based work
Industry experience in manufacturing and logistics
Hands-on knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, or data modeling
Exposure to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or performance management tools
Interest in AI-driven analytics, automation, or advanced forecasting
