Your contribution

• Manage procedures and controls within the area of financial accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Technical accounting (IFRS and HGB) for the group and its subsidiaries , including preparation and leadership on technical accounting papers with the group’s auditors
• Maintaining and continuously improving the group accounting policies, governance processes, and documentation
• Technical guidance and decision-making into routine journals required during the period end process such as month end accruals, provisions, deferrals, and other adjustments; as well as providing guidance on non-routine transactions
• Preparation of group consolidated financial statements and annual reports (including management of the consolidated and standalone results for group holding entities)
• Support the internal and external audits of Vantage Towers consolidated financial statements

What makes you stand out

• 5 years+ relevant professional experience, experience working at Big4 accounting & audit firms an advantage
• Expert knowledge of IFRS and HGB combined with application to Telecommunications / Infrastructure / Leasing business/Financial instruments and hedging
• Experience of S4 SAP reporting and consolidation processes advantageous
• Strong financial skills with passion for effective control environment
• Proficient English and fluent German language are a critical requirement to communicate with auditors, shareholders and finance teams across all markets
