Senior Formulation Scientist

We are supporting a global pharmaceutical innovator on a 12+ month freelance project (ASAP start) requiring deep expertise in long-acting injectable (LAI) drug product development .

You will support critical NCE and MBE programs , including peptides/biologics , providing hands-on formulation input and technical oversight from early development through pre-GMP and GMP stages.

The focus is on sustained-release parentals, identifying early formulation risks, supporting scale-up strategy, and working closely with internal teams and CDMOs.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in LAI / sustained-release injectables
• Background with peptides or biologics
• Solid CMC and pre/post-GMP understanding
• Ability to combine technical depth with project coordination
• Ability to identify potential formulation pitfalls and resolve
