Team mission
Our FP&A team drives sustainable growth by leveraging strategic financial planning and data‑driven insights as trusted business partners across GetYourGuide. Within Central FP&A, we focus on P&L, cash flow and balance sheet forecasting, as well as financial performance analysis for all group‑related topics. As a key member of this team, you’ll lead efforts in delivering robust forecasts, strategic business partnerships and financial insights that maximise long‑term shareholder value.
Your mission
- Conduct monthly variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing insights to support business decisions.
- Maintain and refine staff forecasting models to ensure accuracy in headcount, compensation and related cost projections.
- Lead month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, preparing and aligning financial reports in collaboration with Accounting and other teams.
- Business cases related to the people team, such as office expansion or talent acquisition strategies.
- Drive improvements in forecasting processes through enhancements to the OneStream system, data automation and workflow optimisation.
- Partner with Finance, People and other departments to track KPIs and drive operational efficiency, aligning budget and forecast preparation with company goals.
- Develop and implement management reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and key financial metrics, in collaboration with FP&A and business teams.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, highlight key issues and provide actionable recommendations to enhance cost efficiency and support sustainable growth.
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for leadership, the Board and shareholders, supporting strategic decision‑making and investment evaluations.
Your toolkit
- 3+ years of relevant experience and associated qualifications within a fast‑paced and dynamic business environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven mindset, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent skills in using systems and tools, particularly Excel; experience with ERP (e.g., SAP) and CPM (e.g., OneStream) is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Intellectual curiosity, a passion for problem‑solving and comfort with ambiguity, while offering a strategic perspective.
- High energy and a results‑oriented mindset, thriving in a fast‑paced environment, taking the initiative to drive work.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance financial modelling, scenario analysis and data‑driven decision‑making is a big plus.
