With operations across multiple European markets, the business is entering an exciting phase of transformation and growth, driving improvements in financial governance, performance transparency, and operational excellence.
To support this next stage of development, we are seeking an experienced Senior FP+A Manager to join the finance leadership team, based at the Group’s headquarters in Munich .
The Role
The Senior Group Controller will be responsible for the accuracy, consistency, and insightfulness of financial reporting across the Group. Acting as a key business partner to the CFO, Group FP&A, and local finance teams, this role combines technical expertise in consolidation and reporting with strong commercial acumen and leadership.
You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Group’s financial control environment, driving reporting efficiency, and supporting the investor and management teams with high‑quality analysis and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
Group Reporting & Consolidation
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual Group consolidation under IFRS.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of group reporting across all subsidiaries.
- Drive continuous improvement in consolidation tools, systems, and processes.
Controlling & Performance Management
- Provide in-depth financial analysis of Group results, identifying key drivers of performance and variances.
- Partner with FP&A to develop standardised reporting packs, KPIs, and dashboards for management and investors.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles.
Financial Governance & Controls
- Strengthen internal control frameworks and promote best practices across local finance teams.
- Support audit processes (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors on Group‑level matters.
- Oversee accounting policy compliance and ensure adherence to IFRS and internal standards.
Investor & Management Support
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial materials for the Board, shareholders, and lenders.
- Contribute to M&A integration projects, including financial due diligence and post‑acquisition alignment.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, driving performance improvement initiatives.
About You
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 7–10 years’ experience in Group Controlling, Consolidation, or Financial Reporting, ideally within a Private Equity–backed , multinational , or multi‑entity organisation.
- Excellent technical knowledge of IFRS and experience managing consolidation processes (knowledge of tools like OneStream, Tagetik, or SAP BPC advantageous).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
- Hands‑on and proactive approach suited to a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- Fluent in English ; German highly desirable.
