We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our client in the financial sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and deliver modern, scalable software solutions in a global, regulated environment. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you’ll take part in the full software development lifecycle — from story pointing and design through to coding, testing, and deployment. You’ll build responsive, modern UIs using React, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS/SASS, and collaborate with backend engineers on RESTful APIs, services, and data integration. You’ll write unit and integration tests, using TDD where appropriate, and contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices. Using tools like Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud services, you’ll help deliver reliable, scalable solutions that meet business needs. In addition, you’ll lead project execution within your squad — ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met while driving collaboration and technical excellence across teams.FDM offers a supportive environment and clear development path to help you grow your technical and professional skills. What we are looking for Essential skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in Front End development with strong expertise in React, Angular or VueProficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript, with solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS/SASS and designing responsive web applicationsTeam-oriented and self-driven, with experience leading initiatives and collaborating across functions; knowledge of financial markets or payment systems is an advantageSolid understanding of software architecture, design principlesVery good English skills (C1)Work permit for Germany Bonus Skills: Experienced in backend development using C#/.NET and RESTful services, with familiarity in databases such as SQL Server or MongoDBSolid understanding of UX fundamentals and user-centered designHands-on with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and Azure cloud services What's in it for youWith us, you are the focus – personal contacts accompany you throughout the project and in all phases of your professional development.
