Senior Frontend Developer (React/JavaScript)

Location: Fully Remote (Europe / Asia - CET Daytime Hours)

We are searching for an experienced & proactiveSenior Frontend Developer (React/JavaScript) to join the foundational team for an already launched, skill-based betting website.

Key Focus Areas

• Lead the effort to refine the entire website's user interface and experience, implementing best practices to attract and retain a wider community. ✨
• Ensure the application is pixel-perfect and highly responsive across all screen sizes and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Collaborate closely with the game development team to ensure the in-game UI/UX (built in Phaser/Colyseus) is smooth, intuitive, and consistent with the core website look and feel.
• Optimize frontend performance, focusing on fast loading times, smooth transitions, and minimal latency for high-traffic, real-money interactions. ⚡
• Design and maintain scalable, reusable, and testable frontend component architecture using React and modern state management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in video game industry is a must!
• Expert-level proficiency in React, React Hooks, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and complex responsive UI development.
• Experience leading frontend efforts for medium-to-large applications, including setting technical standards and direction.
• Genuine enthusiasm for gaming and building interactive digital experiences.

Bonus Points

• Experience working within the iGaming, FinTech, or other highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Experience integrating with real-time/socket-based APIs (WebSockets).
• Experience with Laravel/PHP or micro-frontend architectures.
