Responsibilities
- Own End‑to‑End Features : Take complete ownership of features from conception to deployment, making architectural decisions that impact both frontend and backend systems.
- Real‑time Features : Implement WebSocket‑based real‑time capabilities for seamless user experiences.
- AI Integration : Work closely with our AI services, integrating cutting‑edge models into product workflows.
- Independent Decision‑Making : Make technical decisions without constant oversight – from choosing libraries to architecting new features.
- Rapid Iteration : Ship features quickly while maintaining code quality in a fast‑paced AI landscape where capabilities evolve weekly.
Requirements
- Required Technical Skills
- Frontend Expertise
- Proficiency in React.js – deep understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand), custom hooks, performance optimization, and related CSS/HTML technologies.
- TypeScript proficiency – building type‑safe code.
- Performance focus – lazy loading, code splitting, caching strategies.
- Browser APIs – localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB for offline‑first applications.
- Electron Development
- Experience building cross‑platform desktop apps with Electron, including main/renderer process architecture, native OS integration, auto‑update mechanisms, and desktop security best practices.
- Development Tools & Practices
- Advanced Git – branching, conflict resolution, code review, CI/CD integration.
- Problem‑solving – debugging (Chrome DevTools, IDE debuggers), performance bottleneck analysis, comprehensive test suites.
- Communication & teamwork – clear documentation, code reviews, mentorship, cross‑functional collaboration.
