Job Overview

The User Interfaces Team defines, implements, and maintains our Design System – the foundation for consistent, high‑quality interfaces across the company. This system ensures a cohesive user experience, standardises processes, and encourages collaboration, increasing efficiency in development and operations. The team also manages Solactive’s public website, aligning it with our design principles and ensuring smooth integration.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will tackle complex challenges and build scalable, user‑friendly front‑end applications that delight internal and external users. You will collaborate with development and business teams to drive UI design and implementation, setting new standards for front‑end excellence. Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the UI framework used as the basis for all graphical interfaces at Solactive, ensuring a consistent and cohesive design language.
• Design and implement a flexible and scalable architecture for user interfaces that supports current and future projects.
• Lead the development and maintenance of Solactive’s public webpage and other client‑facing applications, with a strong focus on user experience and performance.
• Collaborate closely with backend, DevOps and business teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of front‑end applications.
• Support full‑stack development tasks using Java, Go and Python as needed.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in React with a proven track record of designing, building and scaling complex front‑end applications.
• Experience maintaining a UI framework or design system, ensuring consistency across all graphical interfaces.
• Strong ability to design flexible, scalable UI architectures for future growth.
• Problem‑solving mindset: skilled at creating and applying scripts to tackle complex development challenges efficiently.
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills, capable of working with and guiding junior developers.
• Full‑stack proficiency: strong understanding of back‑end concepts and technologies (Java, Go, Python) to collaborate effectively with back‑end teams.
• Innovation: drive to explore new approaches and technologies to improve development processes and deliver innovative solutions.
