Responsibilities

• Develop modern, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Optimize digital touchpoints and contact forms to drive lead generation and increase conversion rates
• Conduct continuous analysis and discovery to understand user needs and remove friction from the customer journey
• Collaborate actively within an agile team and an Agile Release Train using the SAFe framework
• Contribute to the full-stack architecture including backend services and cloud infrastructure components
• Ensure software reliability through comprehensive testing using tools like Playwright, Vitest, and Pact
• Present solutions and progress confidently to cross-functional teams and stakeholders during demos and reviews
• Support fellow team members through close collaboration and active participation in architectural discussions

Must have competences

• Senior-level expertise in Full-Stack Software Engineering with a strong focus on Frontend development
• Deep proficiency in React and TypeScript specifically
• Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS for building modern, accessible user interfaces
• Strong eye for both excellent user experience (UX) and solid software architecture
• Proven experience working in agile environments, specifically with frameworks like SAFe (Agile Release Train)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English
• Ability to collaborate closely within cross-functional teams and present solutions to stakeholders
• Commitment to understanding the business domain and contributing beyond code implementation

Nice to have competences

• Experience with Backend technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, Kotlin, or Java with Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS, CDK, and Terraform
• Knowledge of modern development and testing tools such as Playwright, Storybook, Vite, Vitest, and React Testing Library
• Experience with message brokers like Apache Kafka and database systems like MongoDB
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and containerization via Docker
• Interest in OpenTelemetry and observability tools
• General openness to explore and adopt new technologies as the project evolves

Additional information

The position is almost fully remote, but requires regular on-site visits in Ludwigsburg at roughly three-month intervals. Nearshore resources are preferred.
