(Senior) Hardware Developer (m/f/d)

• Working on subprojects and independent projects
• Constructive design of sheet metal bending, punching, and milling parts
• Development of plastic components (initial experience advantageous), development of prototypes, 3D printing, and laserinternally
• Supporting products from the prototype phase to series production
• Preparation of manufacturing documents: part drawings, parts lists, assembly drawings, bending sequences
• Optimization of components until they are ready for series production
• Tolerance considerations for components, assemblies, and systems
• Product maintenance and change management, administration and maintenance of CAD data
• Creation of datasheets, operating instructions, and documentation
• Design of devices for assembly, mechanics, and operating equipment

Your profile

• You have a degree or vocational training in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
• You enjoy working in international teams, are confident in English technical conversation, and are willing to travel occasionally within Europe and Asia.
• You have experience in design with CAD systems, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
• You have knowledge of sheet metal and component processing as well as fixture construction.
• Ideally, you have gained initial experience in plastic part development.
• You have practical experience in working with manufacturing machines such as laser cutters, bending, and punching technology.
• You are characterized by analytical thinking and a strong focus on quality and solutions.
• You enjoy working in a team and at the same time impress with your independent and structured way of working.
