As our HR People Business Partner for GTM in Germany, you will support our commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) by combining strong business understanding with impactful people expertise. In this role, you will anticipate challenges, diagnose issues, and deliver people strategies that directly contribute to organisational performance and growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnering : Align people strategies with Shiftmove’s business goals, supporting organisational design, workforce planning, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Leadership Coaching : Guide and empower managers through performance challenges, organisational changes, and day-to-day people matters, helping them grow as capable, future-ready leaders.
  • Talent & Culture Development: Develop and implement programs that support performance management, career growth, and succession planning, fostering a culture of accountability and development.
  • Employee Relations : Serve as a trusted advisor on sensitive employee matters in full compliance with German labour law, collaborating closely with your People leadership.
  • Data-Informed Decision Making : Use people data and insights to identify improvement opportunities, recommend actions, and continuously evolve our people practices.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration : Collaborate with others (People teams, cross-functional partners, Business Partner peers, etc.) to build world class initiatives.

About Your Profile

  • Solid experience as an HR Business Partner in fast-paced, international environments.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in multi-site and matrix organisations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and partner with leaders at all levels.
  • Skilled in change management, helping teams navigate transformation and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding how the organisation operates and how talent decisions impact performance.
  • Fluent in German and English, enabling effective collaboration in an international context.
  • Analytical mindset, confident using data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Very good knowledge of German labour law, with experience supporting leaders through complex employee relations matters.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with post-merger integration or large-scale organisational change.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and cultures in a global environment.
  • Familiarity with group-level HRIS systems and HR reporting tools.
