Job Overview

As a Senior HR Manager in our HR team, you will manage your own area, oversee end‑to‑end HR processes, and bring organization, clarity, and empathy to the role. You will be the go‑to person for employees and management and support the payroll specialist in processing payroll and maintaining data in the DATEV system.

Responsibilities

  • Guide your employee area through the entire HR cycle – from recruitment to exit.
  • Handle contracts, certificates, and documentation to ensure smooth processes.
  • Act as a reliable contact for managers and colleagues regarding all personnel matters.
  • Manage timekeeping, absences, and master data, adding structure to numbers and processes.
  • Develop and document work instructions, support HR projects, and drive process optimizations for efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the payroll specialist to process payroll and maintain data in the DATEV system with precision.
  • Work as a team player, contributing to a collaborative and impactful HR practice.

Profile – What We Expect

  • Kaufmännische Ausbildung or a completed degree with an HR focus.
  • Several years of experience in operational HR, preferably in a medium‑sized or retail environment.
  • Experience with HR software, ideally Personio or Rexx systems.
  • Strong knowledge of labor, social, and contract law.
  • A structured, self‑sufficient, solution‑oriented working style that builds trust.
  • Enjoying taking responsibility and shaping processes.
  • A passion for digital tools and process optimization.

Optional Bonus Qualities

  • Experience with DATEV LODAS and internal payroll processing.
  • Active recruiting experience using networks such as Xing or LinkedIn.
