Senior Infrastructure Finance Professional

Join FS Impact Finance as a Senior Infrastructure Finance Professional and contribute to financing over 3 GW of renewable energy capacity while supporting 1.8 m HA of forestry and landscape restoration assets across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Main purpose of the role

The successful candidate will lead the development, fundraising and implementation of two new blended‑finance strategies: the Seed Capital Assistance Facility (SCAF) III debt fund and the Resilient Infrastructure Fund (RIF). This role is key to securing investor interest and finalising funding streams at a pivotal moment.

Roles and responsibilities

Lead the development and fundraising of the SCAF III debt fund and the RIF.
Oversee the funds’ investment, portfolio and impact strategies; operations (deal origination, due diligence, investment process, monitoring); contracting and legal work; investor relations and reporting.
Manage, mentor and grow internal fund‑management teams; provide HR oversight.
Represent the firm at conferences, events and meetings.

Qualifications

15 + years’ experience in infrastructure finance, including renewable energy; experience with both project and corporate (debt) finance is an asset.
5 + years’ experience structuring funds or other financial vehicles.
Strong knowledge of legal structures and documentation at fund and investment levels.
Proven fundraising experience with public and private entities; ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
Experience in Africa or Asia is desirable but not mandatory.
Relevant university degree.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
EU work and residence permit.
