Senior IT Business Analyst (m / f)

At ARHS Group, part of Accenture, we are hiring a Senior IT Business Analyst (m / f) to bridge business needs and technical implementation within a European public‑sector environment in Luxembourg. You will play a hands‑on role in requirements analysis, backlog management, testing coordination, and functional support activities.

THE WORK :

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for IT solutions.
• Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, aligned with Agile practices.
• Model processes and workflows (UML) to support automation and operational improvements.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams.
• Manage and refine backlogs, ensuring requirements are complete, prioritized, and development‑ready.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Design and validate test cases and participate in end‑to‑end testing activities.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collect business sign‑off on deliverables.
• Provide reporting on project progress, risks, and resource planning.
• Produce and maintain project documentation including business requirements, user manuals, and procedural guides.
• Support application operations and functional issue resolution when required.

Onsite at client site : This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED :

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst in large financial institutions or European / international organizations.
• Strong background in SDLC, requirements gathering, and UML modeling.
• Experience working on e‑banking and lending application projects.
• Solid experience in software testing, including writing test cases and coordinating UAT.
• Ability to produce clear documentation including business requirements, test scenarios, and user manuals in English.
• Strong skills in SQL and data quality‑related activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) and tools such as Jira and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level); French (B2 level) is an asset.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Experience working within Agile environments and backlog management processes.
