The Baden-Württemberg Municipal Pension Association (KVBW) is a public-law corporation whose areas of operation include civil servant pensions, subsidies, municipal personnel services, and supplementary pensions. Its geographical scope of operations covers the state of Baden-Württemberg. The association is headquartered in Karlsruhe, with a second office in Stuttgart. At our office in Karlsruhe, the following position is to be filled as soon as possible in the Software Engineering and IT Coordination Department: Senior IT Coordinator (m/f/d) in the Supplementary Pension - Voluntary Insurance Division, part-time (50%) Pay Grade A11 LBesO / up to Pay Grade 10 TVöD, Reference Number: V 652.26 Your main responsibilities: Project work (including planning, support, and management of IT projects—both in-house and in collaboration with external partners) Development of complex technical concepts as a basis for the further development of our IT systems (definition and design of software functions and dialog flows from the user’s perspective in coordination with our business department, our external partners, and application development), particularly in response to legal and procedural changes Preparation of cost and user analyses, as well as participation in planning Development of test concepts, as well as coordination, execution, and documentation of corresponding test procedures Maintenance and support of existing software products, including optimization measures and specific user support Planning and conducting user training sessions Advising business departments on IT-specific issues related to business processes Evaluations and data analyses for the business side Participation in digitization projects to ensure the future viability of our processes What we expect from you: Qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service—ideally with a specialization in "Information Technology and Management"—or an equivalent qualification; alternatively, other training with a focus on computer science, administration, or business Interest in a role involving IT-related, legal, and organizational issues Experience in the technical design of IT applications and in conducting testing is advantageous but not required A sense of responsibility, quick comprehension, and sound judgment Ability to work in a team, initiative, communication skills, and good work and time management We offer you: A strong start through intensive onboarding Task-based, needs-oriented training (staff development program) Independent work in a challenging, responsible, interesting, and diverse work environment and subject area A modern office building in the heart of Karlsruhe with excellent access to public transportation A travel allowance for using public transportation The option to work from home on a part-time basis after the onboarding phase All benefits of a modern employer (flexible and family-friendly work schedule, health management, bonus system) For technical questions, please contact Ms. Jungfrom the Software Engineering and IT Coordination Department; for administrative questions, please contact Ms. Lojicfrom the Management, Organization, and Personnel Development Division.
