About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications for geophysical and geological data analysis. You will collaborate with geoscientists, data scientists, and engineers to deliver robust on-premise and cloud solutions, while mentoring juniors and contributing to architectural decisions.

Key Skills:

• Strong programming experience with Java (mandatory)
• C++ is a nice-to-have, not mandatory
• 5+ years in scientific or geophysical software development
• Strong skills in application design, algorithms, and cloud-based microservices
• Experience with GitLab, Eclipse, CI/CD, Windows/Linux
• Knowledge of geophysical data/tools (SEG-Y, Petrel, OpenVDS, etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker
• Bonus: Python (NumPy, SciPy, TensorFlow), GPU acceleration, Angular/React
