Senior Java Developer - Fintech - Berlin - 80k

We are a leading outsourcing service provider specializing in billing and accounts receivable management. From our central office in Berlin, our team of around 120 professionals delivers expertise in subscription management, payment solutions, financial management, CRM systems, and customer service.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Spring-based applications as a Java Developer.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to independently develop requirements and solutions.
• Work on the design and coordination of macro and software architecture within the team.
• Implement new customer requirements and adapt customer-specific systems.
• Generalize customer-specific requirements into features for the broader platform.
• Maintain and further develop existing Spring-based applications.
• Create unit and integration tests and support Quality Management through test automation.
• Manage deployment on test systems and roll out new versions across environments.
• Assist with operations by handling daily tasks, research requests, or production issues.
• Mentor and integrate working students or trainees.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in object-oriented application development.
• Proficiency in Java, JVM-based languages, and modern architectures such as Spring, reactive programming, or microservices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with state-of-the-art technologies: AMQP, Spring Boot, Hibernate, ElasticSearch, Kibana/Grafana, Kubernetes, and more!
• Fluency in German and English.
