My client is a team-cultured and innovative health insurance software platform looking for skilled Java Developers to join their team, in Dresden. Providing the opportunity to work with real, impactful software projects that make a difference to everyday people and positively affect society.

You will work on developing and maintaining sophisticated software for the public health sector, including appointment services, communication middleware for doctors, backend systems, and online applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software
• Participate in dedicated code review sprints and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes
• Write automated tests to ensure high software quality
• Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and architects to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Continuously improve your technical skills and knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java software development
• Experience with some of the following: Spring, REST, Maven, SQL, Hibernate, GIT
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration
• Good communication skills and active desire to work in a collaborative team
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in German (B2+) and fluency in English.
