Overview

Senior Key Account & Business Development Manager – ARUP Alu‑Rohr und Profil GmbH. Help expand beyond automotive heritage into adjacent, engineered markets.

This is not a commodity sales role. We manufacture high‑frequency welded aluminum tubing for application‑critical uses where engineering reliability, consistency, and margin discipline matter more than price.

What this role is

  • New‑customer acquisition and market expansion
  • Selling engineered tubing primarily into non‑automotive applications
  • Owning the full commercial cycle: opportunity qualification, RFQs, pricing, and margin discipline
  • Working directly with German engineering and production teams
  • Helping shape where ARUP grows next

What this role is not

  • Farming or account‑maintenance role
  • Commodity aluminum or tube trading
  • Distributor‑only sales
  • Volume‑at‑any‑cost environment

Target growth markets

  • Thermal management & heat exchangers
  • Industrial engines & power systems
  • Data center & liquid cooling
  • Specialty industrial and aftermarket OEMs

Role highlights

  • Flexible EU or US location with regular on‑site presence in Germany
  • Pricing authority within defined guardrails
  • Senior base salary + aggressive, uncapped commission
  • Commission paid on invoiced shipments
  • Strong emphasis on new customers, non‑automotive growth, and margin quality
  • Direct collaboration with engineering and operations (no sales silos)

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of senior B2B technical or engineered‑product sales experience
  • Proven history of new‑logo acquisition
  • Experience selling into OEMs, system integrators, or application‑critical environments
  • Comfort operating in a German manufacturing culture
  • Willingness to travel and spend time on‑site in Germany
