This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Key Account Manager (w/m/d) in Germany.

In this role, you will drive growth within a defined business area, developing and executing strategic sales initiatives for innovative solutions in data services and data management. You will identify market opportunities, create tailored customer strategies, and manage the full sales lifecycle from acquisition to contract closure. Collaborating closely with product teams and stakeholders, you will ensure customer needs are met while expanding market share. This role combines client-facing interactions, strategic planning, and analytical insight, offering the opportunity to have a direct impact on business development across multiple regions. Flexibility, autonomy, and strong collaboration are key in this fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Accountabilities

  • Own and expand a defined business area to increase market share for data services and data management solutions.
  • Analyze market and customer potential to identify opportunities and develop targeted strategies.
  • Manage new business acquisition in the B2B segment, overseeing the sales process through to contract signing.
  • Design customized solutions by analyzing and advising clients during the sales process.
  • Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Conduct customer meetings and presentations, both virtually and on-site.
  • Collaborate closely with product management to continuously improve offerings.
  • Maintain pipeline management and customer records in CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales with a focus on solution-oriented selling.
  • Strong track record in new client acquisition and account development.
  • Knowledge of processes and trends in data management.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, ideally MS Dynamics.
  • Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing capabilities.
  • Customer-oriented, consultative approach with professional and confident client interaction.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits (~30% of the time).
