Senior Landscape Architect

Job Overview:
We are looking for talented, creative, self-motivated and experienced Landscape Architects at various levels to join our vibrant international design teams.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong design flare and will work directly within one of our international design teams to deliver high quality landscape projects.

As this will be a remote position, it is essential the candidate is a self-starter and confident in working independently under the direct guidance and mentorship of senior design staff, whilst using technology to integrate and contribute to the project workflow.

Primary Activities:

• Develop high-quality landscape designs from concept design through to construction drawings for medium to large scale projects.
• Create innovative landscape design ideas independently and in collaboration with the team.
• Coordinate day-to-day design, production, documentation, and reports of the projects as needed.
• Prepare presentations for landscape projects including plans, sections, details, etc., across concept design through to construction drawings as directed by the Design Director.
• Ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with technical and contractual terms of the project contract.
• Interact and coordinate with clients, stakeholders and consultants; prepare reports and presentations and attend online meetings as necessary.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and required approvals are obtained during design development and drawing and documentation production.

Technical Competencies:

• Ability to work on large landscape design projects of varying complexity, size and value
• Strong background and experience in evolving and developing designs throughout all stages of the design process
• Reading, writing and interpretation of technical drawings and documentation, specifications, reports, proposals, contracts and tender documents
• Demonstrate excellent software skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office
• Knowledge of Sketch-Up, Lumion, Revit, Rhino is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment with minimum supervision
• Previous Middle Eastern project experience is an added advantage

Position Requirements:

• University Degree – Post Graduation or equivalent – in landscape architecture or architecture
• CMLI or equivalent is an added advantage
• 7+ years’ experience in large landscape design projects
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
