Study Overview: Shaping the Future of Molecular Diagnostics

We are conducting a confidential research study to understand the decision-making processes and experiences of laboratory leaders in the molecular diagnostics field. This is a paid, one-on-one, 60-minute virtual interview focused on high-throughput molecular testing platforms.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking senior-level laboratory professionals who are influential in selecting molecular testing platforms. Your profile should closely match the following:

• Current Title: You should hold one of the following roles:
• VP/Director of Laboratory Services or Operations
• Lab Manager / Lab Director
• Chief Pathology Officer
• Head of Molecular Diagnostics / Molecular Biology
• Laboratory Setting: Your primary lab must be one of the following:
• Hospital Central Laboratory / Hospital-Affiliated Laboratory
• Independent / Standalone Reference Lab (e.g., SONIC, Unilabs, Synlab, Medicover)
• Laboratory that primarily supports physician offices/clinics
• Key Qualifications:
• Influence on Purchasing: You must be the final decision-maker or part of the committee that approves purchases of molecular diagnostic platforms.
• Platform Familiarity: You must be aware of and familiar with the Abbott Alinity m system, but your institution must not currently be using it.
• Current Platform Use: Your lab must currently be using one of the following key systems: Hologic Panther, Hologic Panther Fusion, or Roche Cobas 6800/8800.
• Testing Volume & Scope: Your lab conducts between 30, ,000 molecular tests annually across disease states such as HPV, STIs, Respiratory Infections, Transplant-related infections, or Viral Hepatitis/HIV.

What You'll Do

• Participate in a confidential, 60-minute, one-on-one video interview conducted by a skilled moderator.
• Discuss your experiences, preferences, and the decision-making criteria for molecular diagnostic platforms.
• Share your professional insights on testing workflows, efficiency, and platform evaluation.

What You'll Receive

• Honorarium: $450 USD for your time and valuable expertise upon successful completion of the interview.
• Flexibility: Interviews are conducted remotely via Zoom at a scheduled time that is convenient for you between December 8-12, 2024.
