Tasks and responsibilities

• Coordinate complex acquisition, divestment, and joint venture projects with internal departments and external advisors.
• Identify, clarify, and elaborate key decision parameters during transaction negotiations.
• Develop transaction structures and conduct profitability analyses of M&A initiatives and valuations in close coordination with (project) management.
• Prepare documentation and materials for executive and governance bodies.
• Support acquisition and divestment decisions and contribute to the company-wide portfolio management process.

Attributes and qualifications

• University degree in business administration, economics, or finance.
• Extensive professional experience in project management within M&A transactions, ideally in the healthcare sector.
• Many years of experience at an internationally renowned investment bank with advisory roles on major global M&A transactions.
• Functional leadership experience in an M&A environment with confident communication across all organizational levels, including the Executive Board.
• Extensive knowledge of business processes and organizational structures within an international corporate environment.
• Experience working in international teams and having lived, worked, or studied abroad.
• Fluent in English for professional negotiations; German language skills are an advantage.
• Highly results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and collaborative delivery on high standards as part of a team.
