Tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate complex acquisition, divestment, and joint venture projects with internal departments and external advisors.
- Identify, clarify, and elaborate key decision parameters during transaction negotiations.
- Develop transaction structures and conduct profitability analyses of M&A initiatives and valuations in close coordination with (project) management.
- Prepare documentation and materials for executive and governance bodies.
- Support acquisition and divestment decisions and contribute to the company-wide portfolio management process.
Attributes and qualifications
- University degree in business administration, economics, or finance.
- Extensive professional experience in project management within M&A transactions, ideally in the healthcare sector.
- Many years of experience at an internationally renowned investment bank with advisory roles on major global M&A transactions.
- Functional leadership experience in an M&A environment with confident communication across all organizational levels, including the Executive Board.
- Extensive knowledge of business processes and organizational structures within an international corporate environment.
- Experience working in international teams and having lived, worked, or studied abroad.
- Fluent in English for professional negotiations; German language skills are an advantage.
- Highly results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and collaborative delivery on high standards as part of a team.
