Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Major Account Executive in Germany to join our Enterprise Sales Team, reporting to the Manager, Regional Sales. The role focuses on acquiring new accounts, generating leads, and managing the full sales cycle. Successful candidates have a hunter mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and a track record of securing new business and building C-level relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Territory and Account Planning: Collaborate with your team to develop comprehensive plans.
  • New Business Development: Drive opportunities in networking, security, and cloud solutions.
  • Prospecting: Identify and pursue new opportunities, engage in customer interactions, and utilize tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.
  • Deal Qualification: Conduct discovery and apply frameworks like MEDDPICC.
  • Sales Process Adherence: Follow established sales recipes, conduct workshops and assessments.
  • Engage Economic Buyers: Use business value assessments and develop business cases.
  • Partner Meetings: Hold meetings with resellers and hyperscalers, and transact through marketplaces.
  • Forecasting: Maintain accuracy within +/- 10%.
  • Account Handoff: Transition closed wins to the Major Account Manager team after 30 days.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of successful technology sales, with a focus on new business acquisition.
  • References from C-levels in at least 3 accounts.
  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding targets, opening large accounts, and building relationships.
  • Experience disrupting incumbent technologies and selling emerging solutions.
  • Ability to cultivate partner ecosystems and sell multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Value selling skills and proficiency with CRM and sales tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Success Metrics

After six months, build at least $1M ACV pipeline, close your first deal, and maintain active customer engagement. After a year, build $2M pipeline, close at least $500K, and expand your prospect list.
