Overview

As Senior Manager Business Development CRO Services youll be responsible for identifying and building new customer relationships to deliver year over year new customer acquisition and pipeline opportunity growth target for Wuxi Biologics CRO Services. The role will focus on generating new business through proactive outreaching and close collaboration with marketing team.

Department Description

As Senior Manager Business Development CRO Services youll be joining an organization where people of all backgrounds and experiences are respected and where we work together focused on changing this role youll be reporting to the Director Business Development.

Your Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Generating new business from new customers through high level of customer outreach and engagement including cold calling customer visits and extensive networking activities.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in antibody discovery and protein production. Effectively promote WuXi Biologics technical capabilities and specialties. Provide solution based consultative selling to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain existing customers through trust-based relationships and high-quality customer support.
  • Collaborate with marketing project managers and production team to develop strategies that promote customer acquisition and retention.
  • Collect market intelligence with information gathering and trend analysis on the industry pricing and competition.
  • Collect analyse and track competitors information and business move help make departmental strategic plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Familiar with antibody drug discovery and/or protein purification.
  • Demonstrable ability to translate strategy into action.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop important relationships with customers and key stakeholders as well as being able to successfully manage conflict situations when required.
  • Strong influence negotiation and presentation skills.
  • High motivation with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to travel.

Qualifications

  • MS degree required advanced degree in science or commensurate experience is preferred (e.g. PhD MBA).
  • Three years business development or sales working experience or equivalent combination of education training & experience.
