Senior Manager Business IT (all genders)

• You manage projects, improve processes and conduct our service partners for the corporate IT
• You are developing custom apps and automate workflows
• You are the bridge and coordinator between our business units, various departments within Lufthansa Group, and external service providers
• You take responsibility for a wide range of applications – many of which are critical to daily operations
• You're always looking out for optimizations and innovation
• You accompany the entire software lifecycle
• You help ensure our IT landscape performs well during regular audits and is compliant to our policies and regulatory requirements
• You work independently, efficiently, and flexibly. You're not afraid to dive into new subject areas and quickly get up to speed and being a role

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or business administration with technical or aviation focus
• You have a strong technical expertise with high level of professional maturity in IT
• Profound knowledge of implementing and operating websites, apps and/or process automations (e.g. Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate)
• You're open and enthusiastic about working with new and established technologies
• Deep understanding and demonstrable experience in operational products and services
• You're a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and project management skills
• Outstanding initiative, ownership, and results-orientation plus hands‑on mentality
• You're fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
