Senior Manager Finance Transformation & Controlling

An international technology company is transforming their Finance & Systems landscape.

They're looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Lead with strong Finance process knowledge across Group Accounting and Controlling to take a lead role to improve Accounting operations and Controlling processes and systems.

Working with key stakeholders across international entities, you will lead projects to improve GL & R2R Accounting processes in order to improve Group Accounting, Controlling and Reporting. You will lead the set-up and enhancement of Group Controlling processes for Finance and will drive project teams to improve processes at local level for Accounting and deliver key metrics such as reducing month end close time, and delivering finance automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and Improve Group Accounting and Group Controlling functions
• Lead projects to improve Accounting and R2R Processes across local entities
• Own Accounting Consolidation, Reporting and Group Close process including identifying and driving improvements
• Work with Finance and IT partners to identify automation opportunities and deliver financial systems transforamtion projects
• Support the Financial Audit process with external partners and internal finance stakeholders
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Lead projects to improve the core Financial systems landscape, including ERP and Financial Consolidation, Reporting and FP&A systems

Your experience

• 8+ years' Finance experience including Group Accounting and Controlling experience
• Strong knowledge of international accounting and reporting standards, international and local GAAP, IFRS etc
• Experience leading finance transformation programmes to improve R2R processes at Group Level, e.g. Group Accounting Transformation, COA improvement, Group Financial Controlling process transformation
• Experience leading ERP and Financial Systems implementations and improvement projects with Cloud Systems e.g. Workday Finance, Oracle Netsuite, MS Dynamics or similar
• Experience in R2R Process Transformation e.g. Record-to-Report Process Owner or similar
• Strong communication skills and experience working in a dynamic Scale-up environment

Location: Baltic countries e.g. Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia (hybrid working with some business travel) – other EU locations may be possible with travel
