Senior Manager Labour Law and Labour Relations

Location: Frankfurt

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager Labour Law to lead the organisation's labour relations strategy and ensure compliance with employment law. Serve as the go-to expert for individual and collective labour law matters across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on all employment law issues and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain group-wide labour law policies and standards.
• Manage relationships with national and European works councils and lead negotiations on agreements, restructurings, and social plans.
• Support legal aspects of restructuring, transformation, and M&A projects.
• Shape and coordinate the group's collective bargaining strategy in Germany.
• Guide and support local HR teams on labour and collective bargaining matters.
• Monitor legal and industrial relations developments and recommend strategic actions.
• Oversee external legal counsel and promote collaborative relations with employee representatives.

Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer with a focus on labour law and 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an international industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of German labour law and collective bargaining structures.
• Proven experience with co-determination bodies and complex restructuring projects.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
