Responsibilities

• Support the development and expansion of our location in Munich and advise our clients on tax questions along the transaction cycle at the Tax Compliance interface.
• Tax Compliance: prepare annual financial statements and corporate tax returns; review tax assessments and correspondence with tax authorities; model tax implications of corporate transactions; monitor tax obligations from the SPA after a transaction; prepare tax opinions and tax-related statements; handle ongoing tax inquiries; assist with tax audits; plan and execute projects independently; collaborate closely with clients; contribute to building and developing our Tax Compliance team; participate in product development for automation.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in economics, law, or finance, ideally with a focus on tax law/ tax studies
• Title as tax advisor (Steuerberater:in)
• At least 5-6 years of professional experience
• Experience with DATEV
• Proficient in common Microsoft programs
• Strong quick comprehension and analytical thinking
• Affinity for IT, data, and balance sheet understanding
• Structured and precise work style
• Project management and leadership experience
• Good English skills
• Teamfähigkeit and sense of humor

• Key focus areas: ongoing client support in Tax Compliance and Tax Due Diligence / M&A Tax.
