As Senior Manager, Retail & Trade Marketing - EMEA, you will lead a team focused on Retail Brand Experience and Trade Marketing. You will be responsible for developing marketing tactics with a focus on in‑store, digital, and community activations to deliver best‑in‑class consumer experiences for our guests. You will oversee the implementation of the global GTM strategy across retail and wholesale distribution channels in EMEA.

Meet Your Future Team

You are the leader of the Retail & Trade Marketing Teams responsible for developing and implementing Retail Marketing activations for Arc’teryx Brand Stores and Factory Outlets, and Trade Marketing plans for our Wholesale partners in EMEA. Your team focuses on in‑store and digital marketing activations and community engagement, working closely with regional and global teams.

Core Activities

• Leading and providing guidance to the Retail & Trade Marketing Team to achieve objectives aligned with EMEA brand marketing and regional strategy.
• Developing integrated marketing launch plans for EMEA New Store Openings (NSO) including paid and organic communications and community experiences.
• Collaborating with Global Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Store Development teams to develop Brand Store design, guest journey, and in‑store experiences.
• Delivering EMEA NSO launch reports focusing on incremental learnings.
• Leading Mountain Town Strategy for EMEA, working with cross‑functional Marketing functions to develop integrated marketing strategy.
• Leading development of Trade Marketing plans to Arc’teryx selected Wholesale partners to foster sell‑through.
• Supporting the brand’s DTC market readiness efforts with trade‑marketing initiatives in key epicenters.
• Overseeing Visual Merchandising at wholesale partners to foster conversion rate and sell‑through.
• Overseeing Retail Brand Marketing executions at Brand Stores and Wholesale partners to foster consumer engagement and in‑store traffic.
• Reporting and data‑driven decision making for the Retail & Trade Marketing team.
• Owning and managing assigned Retail Marketing and Trade Marketing budgets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive marketing experience, operating in a leadership role for 2+ years, preferably in the outdoor or lifestyle industry.
• 3+ years people‑management experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Strong strategic planning, trade‑marketing plan development, and brand asset implementation skills.
• Direct‑to‑consumer marketing knowledge and deep understanding of the consumer journey.
• Strong project & budget management skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Leadership skills: motivating, rallying, setting vision, aligning team around objectives.
• Exceptional presentation and written communication in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Proactive problem‑finding and solution development.
• Highly flexible, adaptable to ambiguity.
