We've built a very strong tech and on-page SEO foundation, and now we need a sharp, driven and independent Senior SEO Manager to elevate it further. You'll strengthen our traditional SEO while making sure we stand out in AI-driven platforms like Google AIO, ChatGPT, and Perspective. What can you bring

• 8+ years of full-time SEO experience in the German market.
• Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush / Ahrefs.
• Strong experience with technical SEO (site speed, structured data, Core Web Vitals, sitemaps etc.).
• Demonstrated experience optimizing for AI systems like ChatGPT, including structuring content for AI-driven search, with specific examples of wins and learnings.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO data interpretation to drive actionable insights.
• Direct SEO experience in Germany is essential. Fluency in German is a bonus, though not required.

The Details

Your Impact

• On-Page & Off-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta tags, internal linking, schema markup, and other on-page elements; collaborate on off-page SEO strategies such as link building.
• Technical SEO: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs, and implement optimizations to improve site performance.
• AI optimization: ensure content is optimized for natural language and conversational AI, using proper schema markup to help Google, Bing, and AI platforms generate relevant recommendations.
• SEO Reporting & Analytics: Use Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and BigQuery to track performance metrics (de-averaged traffic, visibility, rankings) for both traditional SEO and generative AI visibility. Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations for ongoing optimization.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented, both for SEO and AI-specific optimizations.
• Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, especially in the context of generative AI tools and algorithms, and apply new insights to improve performance
