ABOUT THE TEAM

At Unzer, the Senior Manager of Treasury is pivotal in steering our strategic financial operations towards innovation and efficiency. By leading projects, implementing, and administering the Treasury Management System (TMS), this role empowers the organization with improved visibility and informed decision-making to support our rapidly evolving fintech landscape.

What your work will look like:

• TMS Development and Management: Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the Treasury Management System. Act as the system administrator for the TMS, ensuring its robust functionality and alignment with business needs.
• Project Management: Drive treasury-related projects, leveraging advanced project management skills to streamline processes and enhance performance.
• Business Process Improvement: Utilize expert knowledge of the TMS to refine treasury operations, enhance business processes, and improve financial decision-making.
• Reporting and Analytics: Develop comprehensive reporting for treasury and cross-functional teams, providing key metrics and insights into treasury operations.
• Liquidity and Cash Management: Contribute to liquidity management by preparing detailed cash forecasts and coordinating payments.
• Strategic Partnerships: Engage in business partnering for organization-wide initiatives, collaborating with directors and stakeholders to support strategic goals.
• Compliance Management: Manage the administration of group bank accounts, user permissions and TMS, ensuring compliance with KYC & FATCA, other regulatory requirements and internal policies.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Comprehensive Knowledge of TMS: Proven experience in implementing and managing a Treasury Management System, utilizing it to drive business value.
• Project Management Expertise: Strong project management skills with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data critically and distill complex insights to inform strategy.
• Fintech and Payments Industry Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the treasury sector within fintech/payments.
• Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with technologies supporting teams across locations, such as MTeams, SharePoint, and SAP S/4Hana.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication ability in both German and English, facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Leadership and Autonomy: Operate independently with minimal oversight. Manage priorities and solve complex challenges within their domain.
