THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a (Senior) Marketing Manager for Sweden, you will position Zalando as the leading online shop for fashion in the market. You will develop a comprehensive marketing plan and execute all local marketing activities to further develop the Zalando brand in Sweden.

This is a Berlin based maternity cover role with a limited contract, requiring relocation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, orchestrate and execute local marketing activities across multiple touchpoints (paid, owned, earned media) to drive brand awareness and support key categories.
• Roll‑out and amplify Zalando's global brand moments in Sweden to ensure local relevance and engagement.
• Collaborate with internal media team and local media agency to ensure seamless execution of campaigns across channels.
• Manage local ambassador and influencer programs to create authentic content that aligns with the brand.
• Manage the local marketing budget for efficient allocation of resources.
• Analyze marketing effectiveness, identify local consumer trends and competitive insights to guide decision‑making.
• Liaise with cross‑functional teams (Benelux Market, Commercial, CRM, Buying, PR, Corp Comms) to ensure alignment and report performance.
• Work closely with local agencies (creative, media, influencer, language service providers) in your market.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional experience in marketing, preferably in e‑commerce fashion.
• Native Swedish speaker and fluent in English.
• Deep knowledge of the Swedish market, able to adapt strategies to local preferences and cultures.
• Strong experience with full‑funnel media planning across paid, owned and earned channels.
• Excellent collaboration, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with agencies and partners.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, continuously changing environment with strong communication and organisational skills.
