Senior Mechanical Project Manager

You will take full responsibility for demanding development projects in mechanical and plant engineering – from the initial idea through to successful implementation. You combine technical excellence with economic thinking and lead interdisciplinary teams to project success.

• Lead and manage complex development projects (potentially as part of large-scale projects)
• Initiate and support technical feasibility studies (hardware and software interfaces)
• Evaluate components regarding reusability and market applicability
• Plan resources, budgets, milestones, and project schedules
• Conduct risk and cost assessments and manage project controlling
• Manage external partners and suppliers
• Ensure quality, on‑time delivery, and cost-effectiveness
• Provide technical leadership to the project team

Your Profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable field – alternatively an equivalent qualification with solid practical experience
• Several years of experience managing development projects in mechanical or plant engineering
• Strong knowledge in design engineering, technical interfaces, and ideally in automation or embedded systems
• Experience in budget planning and project controlling
• Structured work style, strong decision‑making skills, and leadership ability
• Very good German and English language skills
