Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international steel trading house looking to hire a senior trader capable of bringing an existing book of business across any commodity product. The ideal candidate will have a well-established network of clients and the ability to generate immediate commercial impact. In return, the firm will provide the capital, support and leverage needed to scale the portfolio and begin active trading from day one.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Develop and manage a personal portfolio of clients, leveraging existing relationships to generate new trading opportunities in the commodities space.
Lead trading activities in your core product area, expanding business opportunities across global markets.
Negotiate deals and manage end-to-end trades, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
Role reports to CEO

Key Qualifications / Experience

Proven track record in international trading within the metals space, with an established client and supplier network.
Transferable book of business
Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to manage deals from sourcing to delivery.
Role is to be located across Germany, Switzerland or Italy or remotely depending on preference
