Senior MLOps Engineer - Contract

Velocity Tech has partnered with an exciting tech company seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer on a contract basis.

The role is fully remote with no expectation of travel and is likely to run for a minimum of 12 months.

• Design, build, and maintain robust MLOps pipelines for training, deployment, and monitoring of ML models.
• Automate workflows for model lifecycle management, CI/CD, and reproducibility.
• Optimise infrastructure for scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and logging solutions for ML systems in production.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and platform teams to streamline workflows.
• Ensure compliance with best practices for security, governance, and data privacy.

• Strong background in MLOps / DevOps / ML Engineering with production-level deployments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with ML tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Databricks, or similar).
• Solid programming skills in Python (plus experience with APIs and frameworks for ML).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver in an agile, fast-moving environment.
