Senior Network Engineering Expert

Description

• A current security clearance of at least Negative Vetting Level 1.
• At least five (5) years demonstrated experience in the design, management and maintenance of large scale data centre networking environment.
• Experience in the development of network high‑level designs and detailed designs.
• Ability to articulate detail through design and implementation plans.
• High developed diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.

Weighted Criteria

• Demonstrated experience with solid knowledge in design and configuration of networking, wireless LAN, software‑defined network.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of enterprise network.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing, configuring and maintaining network devices including Cisco Catalyst, Nexus Switches, Cisco ACI, F5 Load balancers, DNS, network proxy and network firewalls.
• Expertise in dynamic routing protocols, particularly EIGRP, OSPF & BGP.
• Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of system architecture and design documentation.
• Experience using network management software and tools to investigate and diagnose network problems, collect performance statistics and create reports.
• Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
