Senior Network Planner (m/f/d) – Team Europe North & UK

We're looking for a motivated and driven Senior Network Planning Manager who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Network Planning Department - the architect of our business, designing the bus route network, allocating bus types, managing timetables, and driving efficiencies in close collaboration with commercial functions, business development, and operations teams.

Based in Berlin , you will join our Network Planning team, responsible for Europe North & UK regions. You and the team will optimize the supply of bus lines to meet the travel demand of our customers in the UK market.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• You plan our FlixBus lines in collaboration with our business partners, revenue management, commercials, and our experienced local teams to develop our network.
• You coordinate the interactions on your allocated line portfolio with the other teams to ensure smooth processes (e.g., line starts and operational requests).
• You communicate with our business partners to handle our operative demand.
• You plan a robust and scalable bus network that meets profitability targets by analyzing costs and revenues.
• You conduct a quantitative analysis and derive conclusions from various data sets to make informed decisions.
• You present ideas as well as figures in an informative and relevant way to update your team and stakeholders.
• You support in implementing network planning strategies to meet the specific needs of the UK market.
• You mentor and train Interns and Junior Network Planners.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• Degree in business administration, supply chain, transportation, engineering mathematics, geography, urban planning, economics, or in a related field of study.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, network planning, or similar roles, particularly within fast-paced, business-focused environments.
• Socio-geographical knowledge of the transport markets in the UK is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical skills and modeling abilities to solve complex problems in a rational way, as well as strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, adaptable to both face-to-face and remote meetings, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
• You are organized and autonomous, having a team and customer-oriented mindset.
• Based in Berlin, with willingness and ability to travel to our European offices on a regular basis.
