Senior Planning Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Planning & Controls Engineer to lead schedule management and project control activities for complex industrial construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely project delivery, budget compliance, and risk mitigation while supporting reporting and stakeholder alignment.

Key Tasks

• Develop and maintain the master construction schedule (Primavera P6) and ensure alignment with subcontractors’ plans.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, challenge assumptions, and validate productivity rates.
• Analyze and forecast potential delays; propose mitigation actions.
• Perform regular quality checks on the schedule and document deviations from previous periods.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for schedule performance.
• Coordinate and prepare construction progress reports and schedule-related documentation.
• Support milestone validation for payment certification and monitor variation orders.
• Identify, assess, and report risks related to the schedule and contribute to mitigation strategies.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Experience in project controls within industrial construction environments; LNG sector experience is a plus.
• Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and strong command of MS Office tools.
• Solid understanding of construction processes and project controls standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• High proficiency in English.
