The Team – your impact

The chapter Technology & Engineering - Platform Engineering brings together experts who deliver DevOps capabilities to all product teams, enhancing skillsets and improving E.ON’s DevOps tech stack and cloud automation. The Automation Factory provides standardized, automated capabilities to accelerate software delivery across business units, helping DevOps teams integrate and onboard the internal platform.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Act as a technical guide for other DevOps teams and collaborate on integrating internal development and operations tooling.
• Serve as a guide in the product landscape of internal tooling and the wider cloud-native ecosystem.
• Transition existing Global Technology platform products into an Automation Provider on our GitOps-based developer platform.
• Act as a bridge between the platform development team and its users by providing implementation support and feedback.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical consulting skills; experience in platform engineering or cloud-native environments is a plus.
• Deep hands‑on experience with cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, Crossplane, ArgoCD).
• Expertise in GitOps methodologies and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash) and/or programming languages (e.g., Golang).
