Responsibilities

Research and consequently implement new tools and technologies to ensure the architecture – and therefore the product – remains the best in the industry
Requirements engineering: interfacing with multiple internal software teams – obtaining and translating technical requirements into solutions
Design multiple components of a monitoring platform (predominantly backend) - including SDKs and APIs – and consequently deploy/integrate them into the codebase

Desired Skills and Experience

Completed a degree in Computer Science or similar
5+ years of professional experience using Rust
5+ years of professional experience in distributed systems with features such as concurrency (task switching, overlapping execution, etc.), fault tolerance (load balancing, redundancy, error detection, etc.), and streaming (NATS, Kafka)
Experience with data pipelines and IoT systems is a bonus
Fluency in English, German is a bonus
