Senior PMO (m/f/d)

For our renowned customer we are looking for a "Senior PMO" (m/f/d) in temporary employment as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Customer Focus: Ensure the value of the PMO is recognized by Project teams. Support the Program Management team in maintaining an overview of all aircraft projects, including Major MODs. Support preparation of major Program Reviews, driving action closure
• Transparency: Establish a state-of-the-art Program Control System and associated Program metrics that provide a visual and simple picture of the Program performance and delivery status, enabling decision making. (forecast versus baseline, critical path drivers, associated risks, costs and earned value, etc)
• Insight: Guide Project Managers and the PMO through the integration of schedule and Program data so that they can work with their teams to identify delivery issues, risks, opportunities, and their root causes. Support the team in understanding the accuracy of the data and how to communicate this such that managers are better able to judge confidence levels around delivery forecasts and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery actions
• Action: Ensure actions identified, eg efficiency improvement ideas, risk mitigations, opportunity exploitations, issue root causes, and synthesised and prioritised. Provide straightforward communications regarding Project delivery performance and ensure that project teams understand what operational actions need to be taken and why. Contribute to the creation of a strong Program Management function through implementing best practice project management processes, methods and tools including feedback and ideas from Project Management teams.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in a technical field (e.g. Engineering) or experience in a technical aerospace or automotive environment in lieu
• Proven Project Management skills with a minimum of 5-8 years Project Management experience, ideally within a complex aerospace environment. Strong preference to candidates who have participated in at least one aircraft development program, ideally E-VTOL, and are familiar with all phases of the project lifecycle including development, certification, and operational phases
• Demonstrable in-depth PMO experience: tailoring, deploying and continuously improving Project Management fundamentals including scope, scheduling, risk, resources, budget and project communications management
• Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, and integrated scheduling software
• Ability to probe and challenge assumptions
• Hold a PM qualification equivalent to IPMA Level B or higher. Scrum Master or other Agile Project Management qualification is desired
• Excellent communicator in English, fluency in German would be beneficial
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn and adopt his/her style to a start-up environment; puts the team first; robust and passionate in following given objectives; uses failure as a learning experience
