Senior Product Analyst - Growth (all genders)
JustPlay is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our cross‑functional Growth team, which focuses on onboarding players, ensuring a happy first experience that encourages them to become loyal players. In this role you will provide actionable insights that shape product decisions and create exceptional first experiences for players.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious about both the technical challenges of data analysis and the business questions that drive our product strategy. You should be self‑driven, proactive, creative in problem‑solving and possess a genuine curiosity to understand player behavior beyond the metrics.

Responsibilities
- Investigate, map, quantify and visualise our users’ early experiences.
- Conduct early churn analysis and investigate early churn drivers.
- Deep dive into user behaviour data to unearth usage patterns and motivations, and influence the product roadmap based on these insights.
- Work closely with product managers, designers and developers to translate findings into actionable recommendations that improve our KPIs.
- Develop and evolve tracking concepts to ensure we collect accurate, reliable and actionable data; define metrics and build reporting and visualisations that provide clear data to business stakeholders.
- Plan, define, conduct and evaluate A/B tests and drive experimentation‑led product development; manage the testing roadmap.
- Promote data literacy and advocate for data usage and data‑driven decision making.
- Think creatively to find optimal solutions to complex, unstructured problems.
- Use machine‑learning algorithms for tasks such as user segmentation, regression and classification.
- Work closely with our Data Engineering and Analytics teams to improve our data products, leading to quicker and accurate outcomes.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to define the data that we need to collect to achieve the best outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in an analytics role, preferably in product analytics for consumer‑facing products, including funnel analysis. Experience analysing first‑time user experience is a plus.
- Proficient in SQL and Python, including packages such as Pandas and Numpy.
- Experience with collaborative analysis environments such as Google Colab or Jupyter notebooks.
- Experience planning, conducting and analysing A/B tests, with understanding of statistical significance, hypothesis testing and experimentation best practices.
- Experience designing and overseeing the implementation of tracking specifications.
- Experience defining and implementing metrics and building clear and beautiful visualisations using BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau or Metabase.
- Experience conducting complex correlational analysis such as stickiness analysis, churn analysis and detection, VIP analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
- Familiar with mobile analytics platforms (e.g., Adjust, Amplitude, Firebase) for measuring user acquisition and engagement.
- Comfortable conducting statistical analysis and modelling using statistical best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience collaborating with business stakeholders.
