Your Responsibilities On This Role
Design & Own Key Product Areas

• Take design ownership of major product features from discovery through launch, shaping experiences that procurement teams will use daily
• Design the future of AI-powered procurement: create intuitive interfaces for agentic AI features that can negotiate contracts, analyze supplier data, and automate complex workflows while keeping humans in the loop
• Tackle uniquely complex design challenges: multi-stakeholder complexity, supplier collaboration, AI transparency and trust, and data-heavy interfaces that need to be powerful yet approachable

Drive Design Excellence

• Define and uphold quality standards and principles that make our product stand out in the crowded enterprise software landscape
• Build and evolve our design system, creating components and patterns that scale across an increasingly complex product
• Balance craft with velocity - know when to sweat the details and when to ship and iterate

Connect Design to Reality

• Conduct user research with buyers and suppliers to deeply understand their daily frustrations and needs
• Turn insights into actionable design opportunities, always connecting your work back to real user problems
• Collaborate tightly with product managers and engineers to ensure your designs are implemented with fidelity - and contribute to making them even better during development

Shape the Design Culture

• Establish lean, effective processes that support rapid iteration without sacrificing quality
• Mentor teammates on design thinking and elevate the overall craft across the company
• Be a vocal advocate for users and push back when technical or business constraints threaten the experience

Required
Role requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or similar complex product environments
• Proven ability to simplify complex, multi-step workflows into intuitive experiences
• Strong proficiency with design systems - you've either built one or contributed significantly to one
• Exceptional visual design skills with high attention to interaction design, typography, and information hierarchy
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers and product managers in agile, fast-paced environments
• Fluency in both UX and UI - you're comfortable with user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect mockups (we use Figma)
• Fluency in English, bonus points for German
• Valid work permit for Germany
