At Riverty, our Accounting Business Unit is dedicated to developing cutting-edge billing, invoicing, and accounting products. We’re on the lookout for a (Senior) Product Owner - Client Reporting (m / f / d) who will oversee our client reporting initiatives across diverse products. This role is pivotal in transferring best practices, creating synergies, and ensuring that we deliver world‑class reporting and dashboard solutions to our clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Own Client Reporting : Define and shape reporting solutions by deeply understanding user needs, while striking a balance between client-specific requirements and scalable product development for maximum reusability.
• Market Insight : Stay ahead of market trends and client needs to inform your reporting strategy.
• Analyze and Improve : Conduct thorough analysis of existing reports and dashboards by examining KPIs, usage metrics, and through user and stakeholder interviews.
• Prioritize Effectively : Manage and prioritize the team backlog and initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate for Quality : Work closely with developers, UX designers, and product managers to ensure high-quality, user-friendly reporting solutions.
• Champion Reporting Solutions : Act as the ambassador for your reporting products, presenting them to internal and external stakeholders with confidence.
• Hands‑On Data Interpretation : Collaborate with your team and stakeholders to define how to interpret raw data and calculate KPIs, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Innovate and Optimize : While some reporting products may require optimization, you will also lead the complete overhaul of reporting for one product line.

Your Skills

• Experience : 5+ years in the reporting domain, with a proven track record of defining requirements and collaborating with developers.
• Role Familiarity : Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or in a similar role.
• Financial Acumen : Strong understanding of financial concepts, including dunning, collections, subledger / general ledger accounting, payments, and billing. The more you know, the better!
• Language skills : You have fluent English skills; German is a plus but not required.
