At Riverty, our Accounting Business Unit is dedicated to developing cutting-edge billing, invoicing, and accounting products. We’re on the lookout for a (Senior) Product Owner - Client Reporting (m/f/d) who will oversee our client reporting initiatives across diverse products. This role is pivotal in transferring best practices, creating synergies, and ensuring that we deliver world-class reporting and dashboard solutions to our clients.

Your Responsibilities:

• Own Client Reporting: Define and shape reporting solutions by deeply understanding user needs, while striking a balance between client-specific requirements and scalable product development for maximum reusability.
• Market Insight: Stay ahead of market trends and client needs to inform your reporting strategy.
• Analyze and Improve: Conduct thorough analysis of existing reports and dashboards by examining KPIs, usage metrics, and through user and stakeholder interviews.
• Prioritize Effectively: Manage and prioritize the team backlog and initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate for Quality: Work closely with developers, UX designers, and product managers to ensure high-quality, user-friendly reporting solutions.
• Champion Reporting Solutions: Act as the ambassador for your reporting products, presenting them to internal and external stakeholders with confidence.
• Hands-On Data Interpretation: Collaborate with your team and stakeholders to define how to interpret raw data and calculate KPIs, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Innovate and Optimize: While some reporting products may require optimization, you will also lead the complete overhaul of reporting for one product line.

Your Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years in the reporting domain, with a proven track record of defining requirements and collaborating with developers.
• Role Familiarity: Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or in a similar role.
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial concepts, including dunning, collections, subledger/general ledger accounting, payments, and billing. The more you know, the better!
• Language skills: You have fluent English skills; German is a plus but not required.
