Senior professional Vehicle Homologation & Regulation Engineer

Job Description

• Support our Chinese team about EU / UNECE / UK Regulations as well as EU country specific local regulations in the area of Homologation and Regulatory Affairs.
• Support of vehicle development in Europe
• Support of European projects, incl. coordination of and communication with 3rd parties, related organizations, and governmental departments
• Continuous monitoring of the Regulatory Framework in the area of Homologation and Type Approval as well as independent implementation of necessary measures to ensure conformity in Europe
• Follow up of related project process and milestones
• Assist in ensuring and monitoring Homologation and Regulatory issues, CoC Matters, Vehicle Registration, IUC and CO2 Monitoring

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the automotive environment
• Excellent knowledge in EU-Homologation field of automotive industry
• Experienced with EU Technical Regulations and Regulatory Affairs
• Very organized and structured way of working
• Positive attitude, motivated and high drive for results, team-player and enjoy working in intercultural teams
• You have a pro‑active and self‑motivated attitude
• You are an excellent communicator
• Flexible regarding travels in EU and to China in order to collaborate with other developments and for project progress
• You have good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.)
• You are fluent in English
