(Senior) Project Engineer (m/f/d) New Product Development of medical devices

Stryker is seeking a (Senior) Project Engineer (m/f/d) for New Product Development of medical devices .

Responsibilities include:

• Developing innovative solutions for orthopedic and trauma applications.
• Creating detailed technical specifications and assessing functionality for compliance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept to market release.
• Supervising personal development progress to ensure timely, high-quality completion.

Key duties:

• Understanding customer needs and developing smart design solutions including modeling, prototyping, and documentation.
• Working with surgeons to communicate design goals and incorporate feedback.
• Performing problem analysis and implementing solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards in cooperation with engineering disciplines.
• Implementing innovative technologies and managing project schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in science, preferably Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Experience in product development from concept to release.
• Proficiency with CAD (ProE), technical calculations, FEA, GD&T.
• Experience in Orthopaedics or medical device industry is a plus.
