Your Mission

As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll be at the core of major infrastructure projects such as the Digital Node Stuttgart, the Stuttgart–Ulm expansion, and large-scale decommissioning and renovation works in Frankfurt. You’ll coordinate stakeholders, manage project performance, and ensure that Germany’s rail systems are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Senior Project Engineer – Rail Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate planners, reviewers, and contractors across all project phases
• Manage integrated control of schedules, costs, risks, and quality
• Review contractor schedules and define corrective actions
• Lead or support the planning and execution of infrastructure decommissioning, renovation, and new construction
• Conduct risk assessments and site visits, especially during project initiation
• Support commissioning processes and manage technical documentation
• Prepare project reports and ensure transparent communication with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with contractual project goals and milestones

Your Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Management, or similar
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure project management or project control
• Strong understanding of construction processes, ideally including:
• Turnkey planning and execution
• Commissioning and documentation
• HOAI service phases 5–9
• Ability to analyse complex technical issues and derive actionable solutions
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office
• Structured, proactive, and results-driven working style
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Fluent in German (mandatory); English is a plus
